John 3:16 is arguably the best-known verse in the Bible. Perhaps less is known about the conversation immediately preceding it. Jesus was explaining to Nicodemus how a bronze serpent lifted on a pole in a desert hundreds of years earlier would be similar to Jesus' own crucifixion. Those who looked upon the serpent would live and those who look to or believe in Jesus Christ would also live. Panelists discuss the parallels between these two events and their relevance for today.
